Claudette Walker, a professional dancer at the young age of 9 continued with her dancing and music and became interested in becoming a professional dance instructor after meeting Toots Johnson (also a professional dancer). She began her teacher training under Toots until she left for a movie contract and worked under her new owner-teacher in San Antonio, Texas . After moving to the Northwest, Claudette taught for American School of Dance before opening her own studio. She has continued to teach and adjudicate for both Regional and National Dance Organizations for Dance Masters of America and Dance Educators of America which included workshops in New York, Florida, Canada, Montana, California, Nevada and throughout the state of Washington.
Claudette's goal is to make everyone's dance experience a rewarding and exciting one with positive reinforcement and a strong commitment to artistic integrity as well as stressing importance of good techinique. Claudette enjoys to teach, choreograph, and inspire students to be the "best that they can be".
